Hi, I have a new operation. Have been adding the organic material, including manure, for 2-3 months. The colony seems to be growing, although not as fast as I thought it would. What does the fertilizer look like, when it is ready for "harvest"? A gardener who has seen operations elsewhere says it should look granular, light, relatively dry. I haven't seen anything like this -- it mostly looks like relatively dry mud, in clumps... Perhaps I am watering it too much... Can anyone suggest some answers to these questions?
